I heard Gabriel also just sold Dermatology.com for a amazing 5,750,000.00 I just dont understand how he finds buyers at these prices. He does not even use the big brokers to sell them, he seems to find a company who needs the special category names he owns and gets SUPER TOP DOllar for them. I have been following Richard Gabriel for a few years. He only buys High profile organic generic names, I have seen him plunk down a million at a auction without a blink based on his logic of what a generic name is worth vs what appraisals say they are worth. He also operates under the radar screens, he keeps a very low profile and rarely announces one of his mega sales. He never attends any of the internet conferences and most people have never even met him but he is probably the most profitable domain seller in the world.

I know of a domain in the late 90s that a friend sold for $33 million in cash and stock. After the .com bust it was re-sold for far less.
